Fighting Fear Through Information

“The only thing to fear is fear itself.”

Article 19’s Mexico office approached us to redesign the identity, website, and content for their “Break the Fear” project which focuses on providing advice and information to journalist working in high risk circumstances in the country.

The primary objective was to make the website and it’s information as accesible as possible. We realised that the primary method of interacting with the information and advice generated by A19 wasn’t the website but social media and Whatsapp. With this in mind all the content was redesigned into .gifs and static images that allowed easy, non scrolling, legibility on an average mobile phone.

The website was also designed to be responsive and a “catch-all” for the live coverage of the different protests and journalistic coverage of them.
